My first blog!
Woohoo! I have finally created my very first blog, after an onerous few minutes trying to create a Google (GMail) account. This has been quite the class. Although I am always up for a challenge, I am finding this a lot more time-consuming and emotionally driven than planned. I don't remember being this frustrated and mad at myself since my high school days, in Calculus. Fun times. I can't wait until Chinese New Year at my friend's apartment tonight- I need to numb the pain with a fine glass of Pinot Grigio. Ahh...the librarian stereotype is slowing becoming reality, even for budding librarians.

Technology can be hard. Lots of geeks forget that because we've grown up immersed in it. Software systems like the web and blogs and all that can be really frustrating because there are a lot of crappy programmers out there, or rather good programmers who forget about the human element.

I enjoyed visiting your blog. Nice photo! Did the wine help? Seriously--I can relate to your sense of frustration because much of web technology is new to me too. The blog should be a good way to share.
